Christopher Peter Meloni (born Christopher Peter Meloni) is an American actor who is best known as a character on the popular TV show 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. In college, he began to take an interest in acting. At the University of Colorado at Boulder it was where he studied acting. While he has appeared in movies and in television shows however, it's his characters portrayed on small screens which have earned him acclaim. He is able to portray characters of both the good and bad side that are part of our legal system. He has the ability to draw the attention of viewers with ease. His first project was a television show, however, he was later a detective for the NYPD. In recognition of his performance on the smaller screen, he's won numerous times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. It is his trademark eyelashes that are piercing and blue, which have been said to make his look attractive. They have helped to portray rough characters in a charismatic way. People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive 2006 featured his face.
